DATA RIGHTS & DELETION — WAE MEDIA, LLC
DELETE BY REQUEST.
Clearly separated paths: a general WAE path for access, correction, deletion, and privacy questions; the WAE Intelligence / Meta path for authorization revocation and Meta-integration deletion; and the WAE Intelligence / Google (YouTube) path. What each action does — and does not — accomplish is stated plainly.
WHAT THIS PAGE COVERS
This page is the WAE Data Rights & Deletion surface. It covers:
- General WAE requests — access, correction, deletion, privacy questions, and other privacy requests concerning information WAE Media, LLC holds through its public website and institutional correspondence; and
- WAE Intelligence / Meta — data associated with the WAE Intelligence Meta integration: connection records, granted permissions, Facebook Page and Instagram professional/business account associations, stored credentials, and — where publishing or outcome reading was enabled and authorized — the related operational records; and
- WAE Intelligence / Google (YouTube) — data associated with the WAE Intelligence Google / YouTube integration, once that connection capability is activated: Google account connection records, granted scopes, YouTube channel associations, stored credentials, and — where uploading or analytics reading was enabled and authorized — the related operational and analytics records.
This page is public. Reading it requires no login, and no fee may be required merely to submit a request.
There is no automated Data Deletion Callback, no self-service deletion form, and no fixed response-time guarantee. Requests are handled by people through the institutional channel described below.
PATH 1 — GENERAL WAE REQUESTS
For access, correction, deletion, privacy questions, or any other privacy request concerning the WAE HQ website, the early-access list, or institutional correspondence, send a request to:
Suggested subject line: WAE Data Rights Request.
To help WAE locate the right records, include as much of the following as you can:
- your name and the email address(es) you corresponded from;
- the subject or context of the correspondence;
- the approximate dates involved; and
- the specific right you are exercising (access, correction, deletion, or a question).
Never send passwords, access tokens, App Secrets, or any other credentials. WAE will never ask you for them, and messages containing credentials are not a valid way to prove identity.
WAE may need to verify that the requester is the person the records belong to — or is otherwise entitled to act on them — before acting. Each request is confirmed or declined individually based on identity verification and applicable retention rules.
PATH 2 — WAE INTELLIGENCE / META
For the WAE Intelligence Meta integration, revocation and deletion are two different actions and are handled as described in the steps below. Revoking stops access; deletion of WAE-held records is a separate request.
STEP 1 — REVOKE THE AUTHORIZATION THROUGH META
You can revoke WAE Intelligence's access from Meta's own account controls. In your Meta or Facebook account settings, open the "Apps and Websites" section (also reachable in some regions through "Business Integrations"), find WAE Intelligence, and remove it. Meta's current help pages describe the exact steps; Meta controls that experience and may update it over time.
Revoking removes WAE Intelligence's ability to act on your behalf through Meta and stops future access.
STEP 2 — DISCONNECT IN WAE OS, WHERE AVAILABLE
Where the WAE OS workspace console exposes a disconnect control for a connected integration, using it triggers Meta-side permission revocation and marks the connection disconnected in WAE records.
If you do not see a disconnect control, proceed to Step 3; WAE will handle the revocation and deletion request through the institutional channel.
STEP 3 — REQUEST DELETION OF WAE-HELD META INTEGRATION DATA
Send a deletion request to:
Suggested subject line: Meta Data Deletion Request.
To help WAE locate the correct connection, include as much of the following as you can:
- the Meta account name or username you connected with;
- the Facebook Page or Pages that were connected;
- any linked Instagram professional or business account;
- the approximate date you connected; and
- the WAE workspace or brand involved, if you know it.
Never send passwords, access tokens, App Secrets, or any other credentials. WAE will never ask you for them, and messages containing credentials are not a valid way to prove identity.
WAE may need to verify that the requester is the person the records belong to — or is otherwise entitled to act on them — before deleting records about another person's or account's connection.
There is no automated Data Deletion Callback and no self-service deletion form. Requests are handled by people through the institutional channel above. WAE does not guarantee a fixed response time; it confirms or rejects each request based on identity verification and applicable retention rules.
REVOCATION IS NOT DELETION
Revoking the Meta authorization (Path 2, Step 1) or a Google authorization (Path 3, Step 1), or disconnecting, stops further authorized use of the connection. It does not, by itself, automatically prove physical deletion of every WAE-held record.
Deletion of WAE-held records is a separate request (Path 2 Step 3 or Path 3 Step 3), and WAE handles each request individually — and for Google / YouTube connections, WAE follows the deletion timelines disclosed in Path 3.
RETENTION AFTER REVOCATION
After revocation or disconnection, WAE marks the connection and its credentials as revoked and stops operational use. Some records may be retained for audit, security, and legitimate operational purposes, and where retention is required or permitted by applicable law. Such retention is bounded to those purposes and does not mean continued platform access.
PATH 3 — WAE INTELLIGENCE / GOOGLE (YOUTUBE)
For the WAE Intelligence Google / YouTube integration, revocation and deletion are two different actions, and the integration is currently activation-gated: no live Google OAuth connection through WAE has occurred to date. The path below is published so the procedure exists the moment connections become possible.
STEP 1 — REVOKE THE AUTHORIZATION THROUGH GOOGLE
You can revoke WAE Intelligence's access to your Google account data from Google's own account controls, on the Google security settings page at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Google controls that experience and may update it over time.
Revoking through Google stops WAE's access. WAE's commitment under YouTube's developer policies is to delete the API data associated with that authorization as soon as possible and within30 calendar days of the revocation; WAE supports this by periodically reconfirming that stored authorization tokens remain valid and addressing data for authorizations that can no longer be confirmed.
STEP 2 — DISCONNECT IN WAE OS, WHERE AVAILABLE
Where the WAE OS workspace console exposes a disconnect control for a connected Google / YouTube integration, using it triggers Google-side token revocation and marks the connection disconnected in WAE records. WAE's commitment for revocations made through a WAE-provided mechanism is to delete the authorized data associated with that consent as soon as possible and within7 calendar days.
If you do not see a disconnect control, proceed to Step 3; WAE will handle the revocation and deletion request through the institutional channel.
STEP 3 — REQUEST DELETION OF WAE-HELD GOOGLE / YOUTUBE DATA
Send a deletion request to:
Suggested subject line: Google / YouTube Data Deletion Request.
To help WAE locate the correct connection, include as much of the following as you can:
- the Google account or YouTube channel name involved;
- the WAE workspace or brand the channel was connected to, if you know it;
- the approximate date you connected; and
- the right you are exercising (revocation confirmation or deletion of WAE-held records).
Never send passwords, access tokens, or any other credentials. WAE will never ask for your Google password or for tokens, and messages containing credentials are not a valid way to prove identity.
There is no automated Data Deletion Callback and no self-service deletion form. Requests are handled by people through the institutional channel above, and WAE does not guarantee a fixed response time.
WHAT WAE CAN DELETE VERSUS WHAT GOOGLE / YOUTUBE CONTROL
WAE can delete the WAE-held records of a Google / YouTube connection: the connection record, recorded scopes, channel-to-brand associations, stored credentials, and operational records WAE created through the integration.
WAE cannot delete data that lives on Google's or YouTube's own services — for example the videos, comments, or channel data stored on YouTube, or the records Google keeps about your Google account. Deleting WAE-held data does not delete anything on YouTube; to delete data on YouTube, use YouTube's own controls (for example YouTube Studio or Google's account tools). Revoking WAE's authorization also does not delete YouTube data.
GOOGLE / YOUTUBE RETENTION AND DELETION TIMELINES
The timelines WAE commits to for Google / YouTube data are the deadlines YouTube's developer policies require:
- Revocation through a WAE-provided mechanism:token revoked immediately; authorized data deleted as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days.
- Revocation through Google's security settings:authorization re-confirmed periodically; associated API data deleted as soon as possible and within 30 calendar days.
- Stored API data while a connection stays active:non-analytics API data is refreshed or deleted on a rolling 30-calendar-day basis; analytics and statistics data may be kept longer while authorization remains active and is re-verified at least every 30 days.
- Deletion request: WAE deletes the requested WAE-held data as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days of confirming the request.
Implementation status: the automated parts of these commitments — periodic token revalidation and an automated revocation sweep that deletes or flags data for connections whose authorization is gone — are part of WAE's YouTube activation work and are not yet live in production, because the Google / YouTube connection capability itself is not yet activated. Until the automated sweep is live, WAE performs the corresponding deletions through the institutional channel above. WAE does not claim that the automated mechanism already exists.
